The hand-loomed fabrication process consists of weaving yarn over a series of metal rods spanning the width of the loom. Hand weaving is capable of creating a variety of textures and finishes that cannot be achieved with conventional machine weaving or tuffting.

• Like viscose, tencel is a derivative of wood pulp.
• Tencel is more absorbent than cotton, softer than silk and cooler than linen.
• Tencel is naturally resistant to moths and effectively combats the formation of mold.
• Tencel is also characterized by excellent dye affinity and brilliant expressive colors.
