Milo Baughman “Get Down” Sofa, by Thayer Coggin (See 674-855 Series)


Originally designed in 1964 by Milo Baughman, the Get Down Sofa is part of the 674-855 Series, and is a timeless icon of the modern era.

Milo Baughman (1923-2003), was a pioneer in modern design and one of the leading modern furniture designers of the second half of the 20th century. These pieces were created exclusively for Thayer Coggin, the original manufacture, who continues to produce them today. Baughman designs have been featured in the Whitney Museum of Art and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), and he is an inductee of the Furniture Hall of Fame.

Fabric: Priced in Grade 2/3 Fabric. Available in all Thayer Coggin Fabrics, Leathers and in COM/COL

Legs / Finishes: Polished Stainless Steel legs (standard). Also available with Black Powder Coat, Gray Powder Coat or White Powder Coat legs. Also available with maple legs in any Thayer Coggin wood finish.

Cushions: Poly blend down seats standard.
