MODERNISM SHOW extended through May 6th, 2016

Wow! And thank you! We are so delighted with the wonderful success of our Art + Form Show featuring the Modernist furniture of Milo Baughman by Thayer Coggin, and Brian Hollister shows, that we have extended the dates for both!

The shows have been extended through May 6th, 2016.

“As I walked the show with a museum curator, we discussed the dialogue that seems to occur between the lines of the Baughman furniture, which appear to be so simple at first glance, but are anything but simple. In contrast, the lines and layers of the Hollister paintings which present their complexity more explicitly, blend seamlessly with the furnishings,” notes Steve Thompson, aka the Design Guy.

“Each brings their own conversation to the room.”  “There is such balance between these two collections which is interesting because the Baughman furniture was designed in 1953, and the Hollister paintings were painted in 2014-15,” continues Thompson.

A note on the Hollister paintings: All of the paintings are oil on canvas or paper, original works of art. Due to the success of the show, many pieces have sold, please inquire on availability.

Good design transcends time.
